Raluca Marinescu, attorney-at-law

Raluca Marinescu Raluca Marinescu is a qualified lawyer with over thirteen years of experience in law, practicing and advising clients in areas such as energy, environmental, commercial, as well as representing clients in various disputes arising in the conduct of business. Raluca has worked in cooperation with local and international law firms, where she focused on projects related to renewable energy, commercial law and construction law. In 2008, Raluca Marinescu joined the Bucharest branch of Niederhuber Hager Hirsch (NH) Law Office, first as a paralegal and then as a junior associate, after registration with the Romanian Bar Association, in the same year, 2008. As an expert in the energy field, she wrote several articles, following the process of legislative development, for the Romanian and EU energy market. Georgiana Bălan (formerly Lazăr) is a Senior Associate at SCPA “Hirsch Marinescu & Asociații”. Georgiana is a qualified lawyer, having graduated from the National Institute for the Training and Improvement of Lawyers and from the final exam of the Bucharest Bar Association in 2016. Since 2012, when she started working with our firm, Georgiana Bălan has been involved in complex projects in different areas. Her main activity, which he also prefers, is criminal law, with a particular emphasis on criminal litigation or settlement. Her expertise extends to questions of constitutionality, in particular violations of human rights with an emphasis on the right to a fair trial. It also deals with the establishment and transformation of companies. Moreover, he is the best person to liaise with the authorities outside proceedings to ensure proper representation of clients and their interests.
